News

This last week we learned all about Gardens and what plants need to grow. We enjoyed learning about the number 17. We learned all about the letter "y" and the sight words "at, big, did, go, got, had, into, she, to, up, & yes". We learned about living things like worms and butterflies and how they keep gardens nice. We loved tie dying our shirts and becoming mini pumpkins in the process.  We loved field day and playing all the games and taking all the pictures.

You can always check the website. https://bhaun87.wixsite.com/prekpinnacleacademy

For our latest adventures under the photos tab, or their funny answers under the Newsletter tab.

Please make sure you are coming by 8:15 everyday.

If you have not arrived once AM group has started, you will have to wait with your child until AM group is over.

As the weather warms up it may be a good idea to take home your child's extra clothes and change them for more seasonally appropriate clothes and to make sure they still fit.

As a reminder: Your child should be in pants or a skirt with tights unless the weather is predicted to be 80 degrees or above. If it is predicted to be above 80 degrees your child may wear a skirt without tights or shorts that meet the pinnacle academy uniform standards. This means a solid blue (no jeans) nice shorts, khaki shorts, or any item with the pinnacle logo on it, unless your it is Friday and you have earned dress down.

Please join us for mother's day, for a craft and breakfast on May 11th from 8:00-9:00

We are competing in the penny wars, and if we get high enough we can have a movie day or even an ice cream party.

We are looking forward to continuing  our theme Growing Gardens and specifically about different types of plants .  We will learn all about the number 18 and how to make graphs. We will read books about the gardens such as The Tiny Seed and Wonderful worms.  We will learn all about the letter "Ff”. We will explore with tissue paper, straws and other materials as we learn to make 3D art. We are looking forward to watching our seeds grow and noting our observations.

We covered the letter "Yy”, the number 17.  We really enjoyed learning how plants need sun, water, soil, and a seed to grow. In art we created our own gardens. We especially loved  learning about worms and finding them on the playground. We look forward to learning about different types of plants .
